Hear the wind
Hear it roaring, hear the trees that moan
Streets are empty, everybody’s at home
Except the badweatherman
Keep them inside
Don’t leave your children, look for a place to hide
Lock the doors and the windows real tight
Look out for the badweatherman
I wouldn’t be him for nothing in the world
And I’m sure that he wouldn’t be me
We’ll wait for the sun that will drive him away in the end
Until the clouds pack together and block all the light
It’s time to go home and it’s time to hide
His hunger it grows
He needs to satisfy it, that’s all he knows
And so he follows his fate where it goes
Don’t pity the badweatherman

Streets drive you crazy like a spider’s web
Streets have no mercy, there is no escape
Stop walking backwards, what’s in front of you still comes near
I’m counting my fingers to be sure I exist
I step on my shadow; the sun burns my back
The heat melts my footsteps, I look down the street
There is a crossroads, now where shall I go
Pressed to the wall, I won’t cross that road
